The Gratitude Project
The Gratitude Project is a special program that allows you to express your gratitude to the caregivers who have touched your life or the lives of your loved ones during their time at Georgetown Hospital.
It could be a compassionate doctor, a dedicated nurse, a caring support staff member, or a selfless volunteer. When you participate in this program, you not only acknowledge their remarkable work, but you also contribute to enhancing healthcare services in our community.
How does it work?
1. Choose Your Caregiver: Think of a caregiver – a doctor, nurse, technician, or any staff member – who has made a difference in your life or the life of someone you care about.
2. Share Your Gratitude: Write a heartfelt message or a few words of thanks, expressing the impact they’ve had on you. Your words will mean the world to them.
3. Make a Difference: With your donation in support of The Gratitude Project, you not only acknowledge your caregiver’s efforts but also contribute to supporting patient care at Georgetown Hospital.

Emergency Medicine Physician, Georgetown Hospital
“It is very exciting and also truly humbling to receive a beautiful message of gratitude from a patient. We see so many patients in the ER, doing our very best to help them in their time of need that brought them there. To hear that my efforts made such a positive impact in a patient’s life is beyond wonderful. It makes me happy to know that I was able to help my patient so profoundly, and it’s a source of motivation to help me continue to strive to provide the best care I can to each patient I encounter.”
